What is a "riff"?
Riffs are the credits you spend to build games. The app shows the price in riffs before every build, and if a build fails or you cancel it, the riffs come back. Playing games is free.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You type your idea in plain language and the agent writes all the React Three Fiber code. Pro users can optionally export the source to keep iterating in their own editor.
Where do my games live?
Each game is published to its own link on games.riffgame.com. Anyone with the link can play it in their browser — no install, no sign-in needed. Public games are also listed in the app and at riffgame.com/games.
How long does a build take?
Usually around 8 to 12 minutes. The AI writes the game, builds it and tests it automatically before it is published. You can leave the app while it works.
What about copyrighted characters?
Make your own ideas. Prompts and titles that name other companies' games, characters or brands are refused, and games that copy them are removed. See our Community Guidelines.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Anytime. On iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
